Andres Nocioni scored a tournament-high 37 points with 11 rebounds, one steal and three-point shots made. He also made the game-tying three at the end of regulation to send the game into overtime. He picked up the slack with Luis Scola and Manu Ginobili struggling to score against Brazil.

Facundo Campazzo added 33 points, four rebounds, 11 assists and four steals to help the Argentines fend off the hosts. He tied the game at 95 in the first overtime while Ginobili iced the game by hitting two free throws in the final minute.
