Chargers Malcolm Floyd Hurts Other Hamstring
Legedu Naanee could be seeing another start in Week 15 if Malcolm Floyd has to sit out again this week. The San Diego Chargers wide receiver has yet to practice this week because he is nursing yet another hamstring injury. He didn’t aggravate his initial injury, he actually suffered a new one during practice December 14, two days before the games against the 49ers.
“I guess the other hamstring got mad because I wasn’t paying enough attention,” Floyd joked. “I’m certainly focused on it now. It isn’t as bad as the other one, but it is a disappointment that I’m dealing with another injury just after getting healthy again.”
The San Diego Union-Tribune’s Kevin Acee is “almost certain” that Floyd won’t play at Cincinnati on Sunday.
