Chris Johnson shares opinion on who Titans should draft

With the NFL draft one day away, Tennessee Titans running back Chris Johnson shared his opinion on who he thinks the Titans should draft.

The Titans have the 10th pick in the NFL draft and have the potential to draft a player who will make an impact. Recently, Johnson retweeted a fan saying that the Titans should draft Jonathan Cooper of North Carolina or Alabama guard Chance Warmack, according to Fox Memphis.

If the Titans draft either player, Johnson will have more support on the offensive line, creating opportunities for him to run the ball more effectively.

Having said that, the Titans spent all last year building up their offensive line until injuries occurred. The Titans ended the season with only four starting offensive linemen. Johnson also struggled for the first half of the season before finding a rhythm towards the end.

Although Johnson would like the Titans to select a guard to improve the offense, coach Mike Munchak does not want to waste the team’s 10th overall pick.

The team needs to draft a player who will make an immediate impact for the team when the season starts, according to Tennessean Sports.

No matter how good the player turns out to be, Munchak’s job could be at risk if the player does not make an immediate impact for the team.
