Elba’s Twitter post is a poster of the movie which highlights some words that could be described as a sort of mantra for Roland. In the center of the poster is a cryptic symbol.

“Remember the face of your father,” the poster read. The words might mean the heritage of Roland, whose lineage goes all the way back to King Arthur. DNA India has described Roland to be the sort of knight, who carries a pistol instead of a sword.

The Dark Tower movie is an adaptation of eight-novel series by author Stephen King. The movie reportedly deviates from the books. In the case of Roland though, the character is closer to how it is portrayed by King.

The movie won’t follow the books’ timeline and start from the beginning. Instead, it will start at a point where the readers will know exactly what’s going on. It will also allow the nonreaders to keep up with the story, as reported by Bloody Disgusting.

The Dark Tower movie will be released on Feb. 17, 2017. The film is still in production.
