Dragon Ball Super episode 47 entitled “SOS from the Future! A Black Enemy Appears!” will be the start of the ‘new arc’ where a new powerful opponent, Black Goku, is expected to threaten the Earth. Akira Toriyama, the creator of Dragon Ball Super, announced that the ‘new arc’ will be launched on June 12, 2016.

The trailer for the Dragon Ball Super episode 47 “Future Trunks Arc” was recently released and did not fail to give excitement to the DBS fans.

Here is the synopsis for the Dragon Ball Super episode 47 “Future Trunks Arc”:

“With the threat of the artificial humans resolved, a new menace threaten the world of the future! A man suddenly appears and goes on a rampage, driving humanity to the brink of extinction. Future Trunks resists but even the power of a Super Saiyan is no match for this man called “Black”. Future Bulma resolves to ask from Goku and Vegeta in the world of the past. After taking half a year to gather enough fuel for a one-way trip in the time machine, the formidable foe “Black” bars Bulma and Trunks’ way!”

Adult Trunks is expecting that the world is already at peace when they defeated the Androids and Cell. However, another powerful enemy appears that seemed to more powerful than any villain that they have faced before. With this, Adult Trunks and Mai traveled back to get help from Son Goku and Vegeta.

Black Goku is expected to be the most powerful enemy that the Z-fighters will face. There are speculations that Black Goku will be engaging a fight with Omni King, Whis and the Gods of Destruction. Based on a recent article, Black Goku came from Universe 6 and about 20 to 50 years from Future Trunks timeline. He resembles Son Goku’s physical appearance and only differs with the color of their hair since Black Goku is said to have white hairs.

Dragon Ball Super airs Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. on Fuji TV in Japan. The “Future Trunks Arc” begins June 12,2016 with episode 47, “SOS From the Future! A New Black Enemy Appears!!”
