The cast of the NBC hit series ‘Will &Grace’ is making quite a furor nowadays after they posted enigmatic tweets that hint at a possible reunion. The tweets came after the group got a small get-together as some sort of celebration for show’s 18th anniversary.
The US Weekly reported that Eric McCormack, Debra Messing, and Sean Hayes attended the show of their former Will & Grace co-star Megan Mullaly and husband Nick Offerman and after that, all four took to social media and seemed to tease about a future joint project.
Messing took to Twitter first by posting what seems to be a teaser trailer. That is followed by Eric McCormack’s tweet where he said, “I used to do this without glasses.” Sean Hayes also followed with his own tweet saying referring to Beverley Leslie, another character from the hit series. Mullaly also joined in the fun by tweeting a picture of her in a previous ‘Will & Grace’ scene and the caption, ‘I remember this place.’
Prior to the tweets, Messing posted a group reunion picture on her Instagram account which has garnered more than 34,000 likes already. Thus, the tweets fueled any rumors and hopes that they will reunite once again for either a continuation of the series or another project.
However, Bustle reports that the teaser Messing posted was political in nature based on the messages flashed on the screen, especially the words in red. Then, there are the phrases, like ‘bring America back from the BRINK’ and Mullaly’s voice over at the ending to ‘make America bueno again.’ Many observers think that their reunion can be a show of support for Hillary Clinton since all for of them openly declared their support for the Democrat candidate.
So far, there has been no confirmation or announcement yet what the teaser was really all about. However, fans are hoping that no matter what the Twitter teaser’s real nature is, the four will really get back together and bring back the beloved series on the small screen once again. Will & Grace is considered the ninth most watched television series during its time.
