After dedicating an entire concert to Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt at the Garden, last week, Adele made another announcement in a recent show in New York about the Brangelina divorce.
Apparently, she doesn’t really care.
In a video shared by a fortunate concert goer last Friday, Adele made clear remarks about her thoughts on the celebrity couple’s separation, and her comments during her Madison Square Garden concert.
“I don’t care they broke up. I couldn’t give a f—king s—t,” the Grammy winner retorted. “They’re making out like I was heartbroken, like ‘Oh my God,’ I don’t care. I wish them both the best, but I don’t care. And, to be honest, I don’t think they really care about what you lot say. I think it’s ridiculous, with what’s going on in the world, that’s front-page news? I mean, who’d have thought? It’s sick.”
The clip can be seen below.
The singer did acknowledge the possibility that her delivery was the reason for the misinterpretation of her supposed “tribute” to Brangelina.
Adele had a cold beer and watched a movie
“Maybe my delivery is not always spot on. I’m not an actually comedian so my timing isn’t always great,” Adele said. “I didn’t mean it literally. [To treat it] as if I went home crying that night about it is ridiculous.”
The “night” Adele was referring to was her Garden gig where she dedicated her performance to the Jolie-Pitt split. During the concert she had said that she wanted to “address the elephant in the room” and called the separation “the end of an era.”
But, as Adele said, it was all a ruse and all she did the night Jolie made the announcement was to have “a cold beer and movie.”
Meanwhile, recent reports speculate that Angelina Jolie has already blocked her ex’s number, while Pitt has been making attempts to contact her possibly to make a last ditch effort to save their marriage. But the actor, who sources have reported has also been slapped with child abuse charges, seems to have a very steep hill to climb, even to just have joint custody of their kids.
