“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” Ultimate Edition will have new bonus features including an extended version of Zach Snyder’s film for the first time. Data will include in 4K Blu-ray 100GB triple-layer format.
Warner Bros. planned to utilize the high capacity of the first major studio for “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” Ultimate Edition home release to pack all the movies in one set. This will be considered the first among the major studios to launch something in large capacity to fit the longer version of Zack Snyder’s film reaching more than two hours.
The two-disc set will feature the regular theatrical version of the movie and more than 2-hour supplemental material. This included “Uniting the World’s Finest,” “Gods and Men: A Meeting of Giants,” “The Warrior,” “The Myth,” “The Wonder,” “Accelerating Design: The New Batmobile” and “Superman: Complexity & Truth.” They also have “Batman: Austerity & Rage,” “Wonder Woman: Grace & Power,” “Batcave: Legacy of the Lair,” “The Might and the Power of a Punch,” “The Empire of Luthor” and “Save the Bats.”
Warner Bros. decided to have it in large capacity platter which will be in 100GB two-disc set to accommodate everything, Inside CI explained. Although the company predicted consumers would keep on searching for available digital streaming sources, they believed that the quality and the bonus feature capacity were unbeatable in physical formats.
Thus, the Ultimate Edition can be a hit once released. In fact, Warner Bros. planned to choose with new and pricier option.
Meanwhile, Digital HD of the same film will also come next week, June 28, Tuesday, Comic Book Resources cited. “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” Ultimate Edition will be released this coming July 19 in the United States and August 1 in the UK.
