Check Vin Diesel’s Touching Tribute To Paul Walker

Vin Diesel paid another glowing tribute to late friend Paul Walker who died in a car crash on Nov 30, 2013.

When Vin Diesel went up to the stage at the People’s Choice Award to collect his trophies, he could not help but get emotional as he remembered his fallen Furious 7 co-star Paul Walker.

Diesel, 48, went up to the stage to accept trophies for favourite action movie and favourite film for Furious 7. The movie which was Paul’s final screen role amassed a whopping $1.5 billion at the global box office.

Looking smart in his blazer, Diesel told the crowd at LA’s Microsoft Theatre.: “I was cool while I was sitting in my seat, and then they handed me two awards.”

“So I think of Dom and Brian, and I start to think of Paul,” Diesel added.

Born Mark Sinclair, a visibly touched Diesel called Furious 7 a “labour of love”, reports Mail Online. He also encouraged his fans to do everything “with love”.

“You’d be amazed how powerful a force that is!,” Diesel added.

Talking about the tragedy of Paul’s death that happened while they were still filming the movie, the Last Witch Hunter said: “Well, we didn’t want to come back to filming when the tragedy was too heavy. It was the love of everyone combined that saw us through to the end, and now I’m standing here with all of you telling me this was your favorite film of the year.”

Diesel then ended his speech by singing the famous See You Again soundtrack from the movie amidst the loud cheer and applause of the audience.

Diesel previously too sang the song in his deep voice at the MTV Movie Awards to pay tribute to his “brother from another mother”, Paul.

The rap track by Wiz Khalifa and featuring Charlie Puth will compete for best song category at Sunday’s Golden Globes. The song has also got three nominations for next month’s Grammy Awards.
