Fill-in co-host Kym Johnson-Herjavec replaced Dancing with the Stars Season 23 host Erin Andrews in week three, while she left the show to support her boyfriend Jarret Stoll’s tragic loss. With lots of condolences showered on social media, the host as well as her family felt grateful for their comments.
Lately, 38-year-old television personality and Dancing with the Stars host filed a temporary leave from the show to give time for her family whose facing an unexpected tragic loss. Her boyfriend Jarret Stoll, an NHL player, suddenly faced a devastating family concern when his nephew died recently.
Andrews informed the public about her return next week through her official Twitter account. “Thank you to my @DancingABC Family for supporting me while I take the week to be with family. Can’t wait to be back in the ballroom next week!” she wrote.
Because many were curious if the 61-year-old co-host Tom Bergeron will do a solo hosting in the next day, he immediately responded to one of the fans’ question. He told that somebody [Kym Johnson-Herjavec] will replace her in the meantime.
Her co-host Tom Bergeron has also expressed his condolences to Andrews’ tragic family matters in the same social media platform. “My pal @ErinAndrews will be absent from @DancingABC this week to support @jarretstoll whose nephew passed away. Sending hugs and condolences,” he posted.
After her short break with her family, Andrews has already scheduled her return to the show on October 3, Monday next week. In the past, former Dancing with the Stars competitor Leah Remini has also replaced her after Andrews left for Fox as MLB sideline reporter.
Dancing with the Stars airs every Monday and Tuesday at 8pm ET on ABC.
