Eminem new album 2016 confirmed? Kendrick Lamar, Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg among famous rappers to collaborate with Marshall Mathers’ new album, ‘Roots’?

2016 may be the year that Marshall Mathers aka Eminem will be making his return to the music industry as rumors and speculations about his new album is already underway to hit the market shelves soon.

Although no official announcement has been made by the rapper himself, fans’ anticipation grew stronger when singer and songwriter Skylar Grey featured Eminem in her new song Kill For You which was released recently.

The Lose Yourself rapper has been out of the public eye in recent years. Fans have been eagerly waiting for his comeback after the successful release of his compilation albums. In July last year, he released via his company Shady Records , the official soundtrack of the movie Southpaw where he collaborated with various artists making it an unofficial Eminem album.

During his three year hiatus, Eminem has reportedly been involved with guiding other upcoming rappers and is currently focused on working with other artists to get their tracks out. However, news about his new album has been persistent online.

Various online sources have indicated that Eminem is currently working on a new album featuring collaborations with famous rappers including Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg, Jay-Z and Dr. Dre and it would be named Root.

The album has been reported to include 12 new songs and will be available before 2017, according to thegamersdrop.

A recent interview of Snoop Dogg with Rolling Stone also add fuel to speculations that he and Dr. Dre are currently working with Mathers on a new album. He said that it was his dream to team up with Kendrick Lamar, Eminem and Dr. Dre and it would be an epic project. However, the rapper went on to say that they have yet to talk about the said collaboration.

“A Snoop-Dre album would be amazing, but a tour even more, because we have legendary music the world has yet to see us perform globally,” Snoop Doog said. “I’m pretty sure he wants to do it. He just wants the team in place. Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre – that’s the dream team for him.”

Although the Eminem 2016 new album’s release date still has not been announced, fans are excited to hear Slim Shady’s new tracks. It has been three years since Eminem released an album. His last The Marshall Mathers LP 2 was released in November 23 and won a Grammy award.
