Brad Pitt’s divorce case is turning up as an international crime as well as the FBI has stepped into the case. Reports have stated that the FBI will take over the child abuse investigation after the L.A. County Dept. of Children and Family Services referred the said case.
TMZ reported that L.A. County Dept. of Children and Family Services followed the protocol after receiving the complaint. They called upon the LAPD to help in the investigation and after the LAPD’s Abused Child Unit (ACU) assessment on the matter, the FBI have to take over. The alleged child abuse took place on international airspace to which the LAPD has no jurisdiction.
Based on the report, Pitt together with Angelina Jolie and their six children were on board a private jet traveling from France to the United States. It was on the said flight that Pitt got wasted due to alcohol consumption and started to get violent to physically abuse his children.
The plane landed in Minnesota around 8 p.m. but Pitt’s behavior got worst to the point of the actor wanting to leave the tarmac onboard a fuel truck. ACU operatives have already established their report and referred the matter to the FBI. DCFS has already talked to both Pitt and Jolie while officers are working on talking to the kids to verify the incident.
Pitt has denied any wrongdoings, but the matter has already been filed and the FBI has yet to give out a statement about their investigation. The FBI has stated that they are still gathering facts and will check everything if the case needs a “federal level” of an investigation.
But Jolie maintains her stand that Pitt is a “risky father” to their six children due to his substance and alcohol problem. The Daily Mail reported that it was the couple’s son Maddox and Pitt’s argument that fuelled further the incident in the air. But a source claim that Pitt had never touch nor physically abuse his son during his rage inside the plane.

It was for this reason that Jolie made up her mind to file the divorce against Pitt. Access Hollywood noted that since Jolie wants her children to establish a close relationship with their father. But for now, she does not want to grant any visitation rights for Pitt to get close to their children.
The divorce was forthcoming as sources close to Jolie explained that it was not a one-time incident. Things piled up from time after time and the incident on the plane was the breaking point of it all. Jolie would not issue any statement on the matter while Pitt has reiterated his plea to let them have their privacy on the matter especially with the kids.
Pitt and Jolie have six children namely Maddox and Pax, Zahara, who are all adopted, and biological children Shiloh and twins Knox and Vivienne.
