According to Independent, Lyanna was known for her beauty albeit her badass personality. At that time, she had to keep her child, Jon Snow, from Rhaegar because she was bethroned to Robert Baratheon. He is Cersei’s libidinous husband.

On the other hand, Rhaegar Targaryen or Prince Rhaegar Targaryen was the eldest son of King Aerys II Targaryen and his sister-wife, Queen Rhaella. He was rumored to be Jon Snow’s father. Obviously, he didn’t know about having a baby from Lyanna since she kept the baby in secrecy.

At the end, Prince Rhaegar was slain during the combat against Robert Baratheon in the Battle of the Trident. This is based from the book and the Game of Thrones game.

Since Game of Thrones Season 7 will focus on Jon Snow, these details might be shown to dig deeper on his life and how he came to be in the present. His royalty will be discovered and all the dark secrets will also be uncovered in the episodes.

What everyone should know about is there would only be seven episodes for season 7. Cosmopolitan UK revealed that there are less than 10 episodes allotted for the next season which will be released on April 2017.

Game of Thrones show director, Jack Bender, told Vanity Fair that the bad news is true though HBO president Michael Lombardo said it’d be eight.

“I don’t know the answer to that. They’re only doing seven (episodes), and they’ve got their regulars who have done it forever,” Bender said.

“[Showrunners] David [Benioff] and Dan [Weiss] are feeling there’s probably two more years after season six, that’s what we’re looking at right now,” Lombardo cited.

Showrunner David Benioff confirmed that there are two more seasons remaining for Game of Thrones.

“It’s two more season we’re talking about. From pretty close to the beginning, we talked about doing this in 70-75 hours, and that’s what we’ll end up with. Call it 73 for now,” he noted.

In summary, fans could expect Game of Thrones Season 7 and Season 8 in the next years. For now, they should wait until the Season 7 final plot will be revealed.
