Game of Thrones Season 7 Spoilers: Jon Snow wedding will take place

Recent news of new actors appearing on the next season of Game of Thrones also gives a hint of what fans should expect and one of them is Jon Snow (Kit Harrington) finally getting married and starting a new house.

These speculations surfaced after recent photos surfaced featuring an unidentified red-headed actress who was said to be Sansa Stark’s (Sophie Turner) body double. However, it turned out that she was not a double but a new addition to the cast.

In fact, the rumors are strong that she will be playing Alys Karstark, a Wildling whom Jon Snow married as written in the Game of Thrones books. If indeed she is Alys, then fans should expect a marriage taking place in the next season. That is in accordance with Jon Snow’s desire to unite the North. The marriage will also lead to Snow establishing a new house.

For those who are doubting this possibility, there are several reasons why she is not Sansa’s double. First of all, she is wearing a plain-looking costume and carrying a sword. According to Game of Thrones fans, Sansa Stark will never be caught wearing such clothes.

Second, Game of Thrones had held a casting call for the next season earlier this year. They were particularly looking for a 16-year old Northern girl whom they described will be involved in ” a high-stakes scene with leading cast members.” That high-stake scene might be one of the important scenes in the next season.

The actress in question has been identified as Megan Parkinson, who was part of the National Youth Theatre in Yorkshire. She ahs recently took the role of Martha Brown in “To Walk Invisible.”

Aside from Parkinson, a new young actor might also be introduced in the next season as indicated from the casting call. That boy, as described, will play a 10-year old boy.
