Just to break the monotony of death hoaxes that have been flooding the internet recently, here’s some news about the rumored pregnancy of Gwen Stefani with boyfriend (and would be husband?) Blake Shelton. A recent interview with Ellen DeGeneres put the Misery singer in the spotlight grilling her about her relationship with Shelton and their future plans (including babies!).
So just to get it off the table, sources close to Gwen Stefani have confirmed that she is NOT pregnant, but is considering getting married “before the end of the year.” Ellen DeGeneres even made sure that she was invited.
“I think he’s so funny and I’m so glad y’all are so happy,” opened the talk-show host. “Before I make plans, because I make plans way ahead of time, tell me when you’re getting married because I need to know. I just need to know so I can clear that schedule.”
Stefani surreptitiously avoided the question by laughing at the question and responding “Oh, you’re crazy!” Although she eventually acknowledged DeGeneres’s question saying “Ok, I’ll let you know.”
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton hired wedding designer?
Despite not having a ring on her finger, TMZ had reported that Stefani and Shelton already hired celebrity wedding designer Jerri Woolworth to start planning the much anticipated event. Though the couple has not yet commented on the rumors, can fans expect wedding bells, soon?
Meanwhile, Stefani also took the time to talk about another man in her life, the Voice co-judge Adam Levine, who recently welcomed daughter Dusty Rose with wife Behati Prinsloo.
“Adam actually has been FaceTiming me all day because he just had his baby. She’s so cute!” Stefani said. ““That’s the greatest smell in the world, that new baby smell. Can’t wait to hold the little tiny thing.”
Although Stefani may also have her own new baby to smell soon, as US magazine reports that she is already “trying to get pregnant” with Blake. So which will come first, the marriage or the (baby) Blake? From the looks of things, we will find out soon.
