Johnny Depp dead rumors have started circulating in the Internet lately with reports that the “Pirates of the Caribbean” star suffered from a critical heart attack or suicide last week. This spawned “Johnny Depp R.I.P.” posts on social media but fortunately these speculations have been debunked as hoax and fake news by some other websites.

Johnny Depp is alive and well though he is still in the headlines because of his very public and controversial divorce and alleged domestic abuse charges with Australian actor Amber Heard.

The fake reports state that Johnny Depp had committed suicide because of the messy situation with the Amber Heard, who accused the actor of physical abuse during their short relationship. The public spat with the Australian actor is true but the Johnny Depp dead rumors are completely false and fake.

Internet has been tough on popular celebrities lately with Jaden Smith, Angelina Jolie and Sylvester Stallone, plus others, falling to the celebrity death hoax. None of these celebrities addressed the death rumors because they don’t want to glorify and give importance to the fake news.

One of the main rumors came from a Facebook page with the title “R.I.P. Johnny Depp” and it gained a lot of followers since last week.

Johnny Depp dead can’t be true basing on his upcoming projects. Despite being involved in the domestic abuse controversy, he is still one of the highest paid actors in Hollywood.

According to IMDB.com, he has lots of movies for releases in the next two years. “The Libertine”, “Moose Jaws” and “London Fields” in 2016, “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales” in 2017 and “Gnomeo & Juliet: Sherlock Gnomes” and “The Invisible Man” in 2018.
