Are Miley Cyrus and fiance Liam Hemsworth writing a script for the sequel of The Last Song?
According to Us Magazine, Miley Cyrus and fiancé Liam Hemsworth “have been writing a script for a play together,” a Cyrus source reveals in the new issue of Us Weekly. “It’s a dramatic love story.”
The soon-to-be-spouses starred in the 2010 Nicholas Sparks movie, and fell in love during filming. OK! Magazine announces in a headline in its website that “Miley Cyrus & Liam Hemsworth Want To Reignite Their On-Screen Romance In ‘The Last Song’ Sequel.”
Now years later, Cyrus recently posted a video in which she was singing in the car with her dog and Hemsworth, and the tabloid notes that it was reminiscent of a scene in the film. According to the sources of the said tabloid, “not long after sharing the cute clip, the soon-to-be-spouses could be bringing the movie’s characters back to life in the form of a sequel.”
The magazine goes on to allege that the couple is “’receptive’ to making the new flick, which is claimed not to be ‘unlike their on-off romance.’” One of the sources notes that Cyrus has just “one condition,” as she “insisted they do another car duet in this movie!”
However, fans should not start getting their hopes up as Gossip Cop debunked the story. A representative for Cyrus told Gossip Cop that there is “zero” truth to OK!’s sequel story. While it’s certainly conceivable that they will work together again some day, neither of these projects are happening right now.
