Fans who can’t seem to get more enough of Sam Heughan’s sexiness in “Outlander” will see more of him and, this time, he is skinny dipping. However, it won’t be with Caitriona Bailfe, who plays Claire in the series.
The Scottish actor will go skinny dipping in an indie movie titled “When Starlight Ends.” Instead of the Scottish laird as he has been most known of, he will be a struggling writer who has to choose between his dream and the love of his life. The film has premiered this weekend at the Other Venice Film Festival in Los Angeles.
Heughan’s love interest in the movie is Arabella Oz, daughter of the famous Dr. Oz, who graduated from Columbia University. This will be her first shot at acting after spending most of her time behind the scenes. She said that she had a lot of fun in the set and loved every moment of it. She added that one of her most memorable scenes was when she had to go skinny dipping with Heughan in front of the crew.
“Sam and I were on the beach and I am supposed to take off my bathing suit and run into the water and I remember thinking, ‘Well I just met like 30 people and now I guess I’m gonna go get naked in front of them,” she said.
Meanwhile, rumors are rife that Heughan and Bailfe are dating in real life to the delight of many fans. According to Celebrity Dirty Laundry, the on-screen couple can’t deny anymore that their attraction transcends the series. In fact, an insider reports that they have been taking “short breaks between scenes” holding hands and being sweet with each other. The insider said that one glance at the two will see that they are turning their on-screen romance off-screen.
If this is indeed true, the two could have changed their minds as Bailfe said in an earlier interview that she was sorry to break people’s hearts for telling the truth that she and Heughan are just friends in real life.
