Pretty Little Liars Season 7 will be the last and final season of the show, as confirmed by Executive Producer Marlene King, but before the series ends, the fans can definitely expect more twists and surprises as the agony over ‘A’ finally comes to a close.
The seventh installment still has ten episodes left to reveal the identity of ‘A’. In the previous seasons, particularly in seasons 2 to 6, Charlotte DiLaurentis (Vanessa Ray) is revealed to be the infamous ‘A’, aside from being the one called ‘Red Coat’.
According to online sources, Charlotte’s revelation was made after making friends with Mona Vanderwaal (Janel Parrish) and finding out all about the liars. Charlotte was then killed off in the series in an apparent suicide but later on discovered to be a murder case.
Meanwhile, as posted by Movie News Guide, reports say that actress Ray teased her return and also dropped hints of a dark ending for the final season.
“I think it’s going to be Aria,” Ray revealed of who she thinks is Uber A’s true identity, admitting that she believes Lucy Hale’s character has secretly been deceiving her friends for the past several seasons.
“I think like early in the early days, she just kind of had the most to lose,” Ray continued of why she believes it will be the fan-favorite Pretty Little Liars character who’s outed as Uber A when Season 7 continues. “[Aria] was hurt the most by the antics that ‘A’ put her through, so that’s why I think she might be the one that’s coming back to get them all.”
The second half of Freeform’s Pretty Little Liars Season 7 is set to continue on April 2017.
