Robert Pattinson started his film career by landing a role in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, and later on rose to stardom when he got a leading role for the Twilight series, which consists of 5 film adaptations from the Twilight novel along with Kristen Stewart.
He was ranked in 2010 by Forbes magazine as one of the most powerful celebrities in the world, which also undoubtedly makes him a perfect target for gossip.
Too perfect a target, in fact, that when a hoax news site blurts out with a fake story surrounding the popular actor, most readership fail to see its disclaimer right at the top of Now88news that says: This website and its content is classed as satire and not factual information.
We’re too attracted to the juicy stuffs, aren’t we? Well, the “news” site claims that Robert Pattinson had fallen for Brad Owens, a 31-year-old model, and came out while vacationing in the Bahamas.
“I completely fell for this guy and at first I thought I was confused with my emotions and I did not want to let my female fans down. But after careful consideration I felt it was best to come out to the public and confirm that I am gay.” The popular actor had supposedly confirmed to an imaginary reporter of the news outlet.
Its satire gleaming lusciously, which is no different from “news” that comes from a friend of a friend, who got the data from an unnamed source, from someone who refuses to be named.
It’s plain gossip.
It’s a sloshy angle of course, after Kristen Stewart had earlier come out regarding her sexuality.
Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs did not break up. In fact, the two are still engaged but have been busy with their individual careers– a perfect set up for more gossips to flourish.
Robert was also linked with Mia Wasikowska earlier this month, but there’s been no concrete evidence to support the subject.
So let’s all stick to the facts. Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs did not break up, and Robert certainly isn’t gay.
