Star Wars 8: Luke Skywalker’s dialogue gets leaked; Gives major revelation [VIDEO]

Two years ago, the first trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens debuted. It would go on to set viewing records within the first 24 hours of its release. Fans hoped that they would get the first trailer for Star Wars 8 at around the same time.

Today, not only that they get word that the first trailer for Star Wars 8 is under production, which will go on public early next year, but an exciting and revealing line of dialogue has supposedly leaked.

According to a YouTube user known as Mike Zeroh, people who apparently have knowledge about the production of Star Wars 8 contacted him, although he admits that two of his ‘sources’ are questionable. Apparently, they have a connection with a sound engineer who is currently at work on Star Wars 8‘s first trailer. The said trailer contains a line which Mark Hamill’s Luke Skywalker says to Daisy Ridley’s Rey.

“There is this audio engineer working on a line from Mark Hamill himself. A trailer is at work as we speak, to debut in Quarter 1 of 2017.” Mike Zeroh said in his YouTube video. “In the actual teaser or the trailer, there is a line presented by Mark Hamill himself talking to Rey. And the apparent line is ‘You contain the spark that will rekindle the fire.'”

Fans saw for the first time Luke Skywalker in Star Wars: The Force Awakens in a hidden planet called Ahch-To. That was when Rey went to give the Jedi warrior his lightsaber back. Luke didn’t have dialogue in that final moments. So it wouldn’t be surprising that the trailer will feature him speaking for the first time, in the new trilogy.

According to MovieWeb, the supposed leaked line is what Luke tells Rey shortly after their meeting in The Force Awakens. The outlet notes that Star Wars 8 will pick up directly after The Force Awakens‘ ending. There’s a good chance that Luke said the line to Rey because he believes in her. She may be the person to restore the Jedi order to its former glory once again. Although that has yet to be confirmed.

Fans, however, will have to wait until the first trailer makes its debut early next year.  Star Wars 8 will hit theaters December 15, 2017.
