Supernatural Season 12 Spoilers, Air Date: Winchester Brothers retire? Misha Collins debunks cancellation rumors

Supernatural Season 12 spoilers Dean and Sam Winchester to retire from series?

Latest Supernatural Season 12 spoilers revealed that the show’s cancellation is a hoax as the series has already scheduled its first episode in October. Misha Collins has also debunked the rumor. However, recent rumors talked about Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki’s retirement after the 12th season.

Lately, Misha Collins, who played the role as Castiel, a fallen angel that became Lucifer’s full control in the previous season, confirmed a series of potential spoilers to watch out for in the new series. In our earlier report, we wrote that Collins mentioned that his character became stronger, as he partnered with King of Hell Crowley.

“Castiel and Crowley have kind of teamed up in season 12 and are working together,” he told Entertainment Weekly. With that said, the avid Supernatural fans can expect them to work together to search for Lucifer without knowing that the latter remained in Rick Springfield’s body to hide.

Although Collins has affirmed that the series will pursue in the next month, a recent rumor became the new issue. It cited that there is a probability that the two lead characters, Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki, who portrayed as Dean and Sam Winchester respectively, will retire.

In fact, Movie News Guide reported that The CW might consider Supernatural Season 12 as the last season to make. This is because many fans, including the network’s head Mark Pedowitz, have been skeptical about its capacity to surpass the success of season 11.

“If they can keep delivering stories, and the number [keeps] holding, and the guys want to do it, we’re going to keep going. I can’t tell you if there will be a season 12 yet. I can’t tell you if there will be a season 15 yet. I can’t tell you if it won’t outlast my tenure at The CW. My guess is it will outlast me” he said.

For many fans out there, they wish that the network and the writers will continue writing amazing stories for the American series until the end with the two Winchester brothers hunting the evil forces.

“I will continue to watch it until it’s cancelled,” a commenter named Daire Constantine O Reilly said. “It will never be cancelled. The show has been on for 11 years … so the writers [will have a chance] to give a proper ending,” a user named Ben said.

That means the show will continue as long as the two lead actors will stay on the show. Otherwise, Supernatural Season 12 ends as soon as Jensen and Padalecki finally decided to leave.
