Like his most famous movie, Rocky, Sylvester Stallone has been standing against the tests of time, especially death hoaxes. A recent victim of false rumors about his suicide, the Hollywood action star has followed the likes of Jaden Smith, Angelina Jolie and Miley Cyrus-who have all been to the online grave.
Initial false reports of the Rambo star’s demise came after sources indicated that he had committed suicide by overdosing on prescription medications. This was immediately busted though when Stallone shared photos of himself on Instagram, busting the death hoax.
The news of Stallone’s passing, marks the second time the actor has been involved in a false death story. In 2013, media outlets mistakenly published stories about his death due to a car accident, but later on found out that the rumor was created by malicious websites in need of clicks. The rumor was also eventually disproven by legitimate news sites.
Nowadays, Stallone is looking alive, well and in tip-top shape. He even shared a video of himself talking to his daughter (who made a comment about his hair). The video can be seen below.
Sylvester Stallone shares rare Rocky IV photos
The actor has also shared some rare and timeless Rocky IV photos through Instagram in commemoration of the movie’s 40th anniversary happening on November 24. The first photo shows Stallone carrying a camera, captioning the photo “Sometimes I really miss process of directing.”
He also shared other behind-the-scene photos of Rocky IV, specifically ones with Dolph Lundgren who played the infamous Ivan Drago in the movie.
The immortal Sylvester Stallone was also part of ABC News’ Sexy Silver Foxes Over 60 nomination, indicating that the actor is not just alive, but looking better than ever.
“The Hollywood legend still maintains his action-star physique and his place atop the A-list after writing and starring in three Expendables movies with his fellow aging action stars. He’s expected to begin filming the fourth movie in the franchise this fall. His year already got off to a great start after he won a Golden Globe and was nominated for his first Oscar in 40 years for reprising one of his best-known characters, Rocky Balboa, in Creed,” read the ABC News article.
