“The Flash” Season 3 lead star Grant Gustin finally reveals the premiere title, “Flashpoint,” in his Twitter account on Monday. After receiving permission from producer Greg Berlanti, he teased fans regarding the whereabouts of the upcoming “The Flash” Season 3.
“FLASHPOINT. This is not a drill,” he says.
Immediately, fans were thrilled with the confirmation and showed several funny photos with the exact emotions on social media.
After the first day of confirmation, Gustin adds, “Season 3 is gonna be lit.” Many of the fans are thrilled of its confirmed coming.
He mentions in the coming Season 3 premiere they’re doing a different way in “Flashpoint.” Obviously, he didn’t disclose details about what is in-store for the fans in the next season.
“We’re definitely doing this FP thing our own way… I’ve read Flashpoint, I’ve seen the amazing animated film. This will be its own thing,” Gustin notes.
He also mentions about reading the first few episodes of “The Flash” Season 3 script and says he’s now getting excited to get back to work for the series.
In the previous season, “The Flash” Season 2 ends with Barry trying to save his mother Nora from dying in the hands of The Reverse Flash. This is also the same thing he did in the iconic DC Comics.
As a consequence of his travel back in time, he faces the negative outcomes like Captain Cold being the hero of the Central City, the Justice League not existing, Wonder Woman’s Amazonians and Aquaman’s Altanteans involved in a worldwide war.
In addition, Bruce Wayne dies in the alley and not his parents. His father becomes Batman while his mother turns into The Joker. Superman is locked in an underground base for years after being found by the military.
Meanwhile, several speculations are saying that in “The Flash” Season 3, there will be a ‘Flashpoint,’ ‘Arrow’ crossover as well as the other DC Comic characters.
According to TV Line, if there is a possibility that this season adapts ‘Arrow’s plot, there is a higher chance that the crossover will happen in December. This will be the epic four-way crossover of “The Flash,” “Arrow,” “Legends” and “Supergirl.”
Fans will see these unfold in “The Flash” Season 3, which is set to premiere on The CW this October 4 at 8pm.
