Former NFL quarterback Tim Tebow is surpassing himself day by day with his work off the gridiron. Recently, Tebow organized a prom for people with special needs on Friday.
The prom was sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation, “Night to Shine”. The event involved 32,000 people at 200 churches in 48 states across seven countries.
“I am so thankful for the 200 host churches and more than 70,000 volunteers that God’s love by celebrating people with special needs and are turning Night to Shine into a worldwide movement.” Tebow said, as reported by Sports Illustrated.
Tim Tebow was present at the prom hosted by St. Malachy’s Roman Catholic Church in New York City. The event was more special for Tebow as this was his first prom, since the former NFL quarterback was home schooled.
Tim Tebow has been doing well off the field. He was recently involved in Spike TV’s show “Lip Sync Battle” with Nina Dobrev where the duo was seen exchanging looks suggesting a chemistry waiting to happen.
The footballer was also seen in Ellen DeGeneres’ show where he spoke about his dream girl.
“Obviously, someone that I’m extremely attracted to, but I think there has to be more there.” Tebow said.
According to reports Tim Tebow’s ex-girlfriend Olivia Culpo allegedly dumped the former Denver Broncos quarterback for not having pre-marital sex with her.
Tebow is known for his faith and his vow of celibacy. His future girlfriend Nina Dobrev may have to adhere and share the same beliefs as him.
One thing is certain though, Tebow certainly has a love for brunettes. After failing to maintain a relationship with Culpo, Dobrev looks like the perfect match for the 28-year-old.
