We’ve heard too many stories like this before, and perhaps that’s one of the main points of learning self-defense for fitness: the benefit of self-confidence development. Except, this story tells of the aims of multi-awarded American singer and actress Demi Lovato.
Demi Lovato, who broke into prominence in 2008 when she started in Disney Channel TV for Camp Rock, had opened up, as part of her mentorship goal, of her struggles with depression, drug use, and emotional issues.
To channel out her troubles, she uses her music, became a contributor to Seventeen magazine, and works out at the Unbreakable Gym where she’s been undergoing MMA training for over a year.
Incidentally, Chuck Liddell works out at the same gym too.
There are rumors now circulating that Demi Lovato confident enough to take her fitness-level MMA skills to the next level.
According to a report by TMZ Jay Glazer, who owns the Unbreakable where Chuck Liddell habitués said, “She’s brought it up to us a million times.”
Demi Lovato Confident singer wants a real fight. She is also looking forward to take a break from her career, as reported by 7Days.
“So excited for 2017. Taking a break from music and the spotlight.. I am not meant for this business and the media … It doesn’t feel worth it anymore. I’d rather do charity work tbh [to be honest] (sic)” Demi Lovato said.
Could a budding MMA career be possibly on the mix too? Is Demi Lovato confident or being foolhardy?
“She throws elbows better than most of the UFC guys that come in there. She’s definitely one of our fighters without a doubt. She’s more violent than most, and then she gets mad if we don’t get after her or harder, she’s definitely one of our fighters, without a doubt.” Glazer said.
Do we smell a Chuck Liddell influence here? There seems to be no concrete inference of it, and there are no reports of a pro fight being arranged as of now, but…
“She has a mind set, I wish I could bottle up her mind set and sell it to all the guys in the UFC, she’s a bad little lioness dude. Don’t mess with her.” Jay Glazer added.
