Fallout 4 Far Harbor: Release date of DLC delayed? Gameplay will be filled with choices

Gamers are eagerly awaiting the release of Bethesda Studios’ third downloadable content (DLC) for Fallout 4. Far Harbor will follow the developer’s previous two releases Automatron and Wasteland Workshop. However, a possible delay might be on the cards since Bethesda wants the new content to be fully tested before it is released to the public.

The company is currently inviting users on its official website who could sign up and test the beta, thus polishing the add-on before the final release. Nothing official of the delay has been mentioned by Bethesda yet, but sources are suggesting that a delay might be on the cards.

Meanwhile, there has been another rumor which suggests that Fallout 4 Far Harbor DLC may be released on one of the Tuesday’s of May. No specific release date has been mentioned by Bethesda so far but considering the releases of Automatron (March 22) and Wasteland Workshop (April 12, April 19 in Asia), chances are that Far Harbor be released on either of May 9, 16, 23 or 30, according to gottabemobile.com.

Fallout 4 Far Harbor DLC is named after a mysterious island where a sole survivor will search for a young woman and a colony of synths. Bethesda stated that the add-on will feature the “largest landmass” it has ever created.

“Far Harbor features the largest landmass for an add-on that we’ve ever created, filled with new quests, settlements, lethal creatures and weapons. The choices are all yours.” Bethesda wrote on its website.

Priced at $24.99, the latest DLC of the Fallout franchise will be available on Xbox One, Playstation 4 and the PC. However, for those who have already purchased the season pass for $29.99, they will be able to get everything at no additional cost.
