Business works both ways. Now, with that, the Clippers organization clearly stated that they had no interest or whatsoever in trading Blake Griffin as reported by Ben Botch of the LA Times.
Recently, multiple teams had expressed interest on the five-time All-Star and it set up a whole chain of speculations on where Blake Griffin will land after the trade deadline.
This was mainly because of the news that broke out that Blake Griffin threw a punch to a team assistant equipment manager, but the situation was kept in the wraps. According to some sources, Griffin and Testi are long time friends and a joke by Testi went overboard that resulted for the two to have an altercation.
Coach Doc Rivers said that Griffin will be welcomed the to the team -alongside Testi – after they serve the punishments that will be served to them by the league.
Griffin, is currently having one of his best seasons in the NBA by averaging 23.2 points, 8.7 rebounds and 5.0 assists while shooting 50.8% before being sidelined by an injury.
Until this date, there had been no word on the punishments to Griffin and Testi.
For now, there had been a breakout of news that multiple teams had expressed their interest on Griffin. Some of which are said to be the Denver Nuggets, Boston Celtics, Philadelphia 76ers and even the Toronto Raptors.
