Mortal Kombat X PC fans could probably expect new DLC from NetherRealm Studios as Kombat Pack 3 was reportedly under development and slated for availability soon. At the same time, Mortal Kombat XL Open Beta is already live with new slated characters for the game.
Recently, game creator and producer Ed Boon initiated a poll for their fans using his official Twitter account. In his post, he asked them what they like to add for Mortal Kombat X game play. Based from the poll results, Kombat Pack 3 Dammit gained high requests.
The results of the survey gained 66 per cent from the fans who wanted to get the said DLC for Mortal Kombat X game. Hence, several speculations are made whether NetherRealm Studios would develop the add-on for the game or not. But the possibility of having it soon is high.
In addition, Mortal Kombat X Kombat Pack 3 will likely include famous fighters like Havik, Drahmin, Baraka, Sindel, Fujin, Noob Saibot and Rain who were already introduced in the second pack. Yet, there might be a mix of characters to comprise in the third one. A guest character named Spawn will also likely add the roster.
Gamenguide noted that the game developer based the characters from the second pack which disappointed most of the Mortal Kombat series fans. The source explained why they wanted to see more of the famous game characters like the ones mentioned. Thus, to ensure success for the third pack, these characters are likely to be added in the roster.
Moreover, there will also be new environments and skins that will likely be introduced in the game, according to Movie News Guide. Yet, the source has not described details about them.
In the meantime, Mortal Kombat XL PC beta is already live and playable for free until August 29, 10pm PT or 1am ET. Users have to download the Steam link which is accessible here.
Mortal Kombat X is a fighting video game which NetherRealm Studios developed last year. Currently, it is playable for PS4, Android, iOS, Xbox One, and PC. GamenGuide also cited its arrival for Mac version. Yet, the company hasn’t confirmed anything in the moment.
