Pop star Justin Timberlake got involved in a physical confrontation with a man from Sacramento. This ensued during a celebrity golf tournament in Reno, Nevada. The man was arrested for his disorderly conduct towards the singer.
According to Fox40, the sheriff’s department officials said on Tuesday that 29-year-old Keith Weglin of Sacramento was put into jail for misdemeanor after the incident on Sunday afternoon.
The suspect did not waste time as he immediately posted a $640 bail and was released the same day.
There is a video posted by TMZ showing that a hand is seen touching or slapping Justin in the neck. This occurred when Timberlake was walking to the gallery of Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course in Stateline.
The actor was then showed talking to the alleged suspect by saying, “Bro, why would you that?”
The Law Enforcement sources told TMZ that Weglin just wanted to “touch” Justin but got overzealous. The sources added that the suspect appeared to be drunk and became belligerent.
The 35-year-old artist has had success both as an actor and singer. He was in hit movies such as “Friends with Benefits”, “In Time” and blockbuster films “Shrek the Third” and “The Social Network”.
He is mostly known as a singer in which he was a former member of boy band N’Sync. His latest hit, “Can’t Stop the Feeling!” has recently topped the Billboard Hot 100. He also had hit songs such as “Cry Me a River”, “SexyBack”, “What Goes Around, Comes Around” and “Mirrors”.
