Cancer is one of the major causes of death now a days. Cancer cells may be caused by different factors like the cancer causing foods, drug intake and exposure to radiation.

Despite the abundance of factors that can trigger cancer cells, we can still fight it we different foods, mostly fruits and vegetables. These can help us prevent cancer cells from affecting our health and can trigger healthy cells to reproduce more.  According to AACR, more than 50 percent of cancer can be prevented. Foods provide much needed nutrients our body needs like vitamins, proteins and carbohydrates.

1. Broccoli

Broccoli contains sulforaphane, a cancer fighting compound that boosts the protecting body enzymes and eliminates cancer causing chemicals. This compound also can prevent the growth of tumor in the body.

2. Berries
