Heat’s Chris Bosh may be back for Game 5 against Celtics
Chris Bosh may be available for Game 5 tomorrow night in Miami
According to SI.com, the Miami Heat is hoping to activate one of its big three from the injury list. Bosh, who has been out since Game 1 of the Eastern Conference semifinals against the Indiana Pacers with a abdominal strain, could give the Heat a big boost in the paint. He has been doing on-court workouts for the past week and got on the floor with teammates during practices while the Heat were in Boston. Typically players who return from abdominal strains take awhile to return to full strength and Bosh could be playing on a minute restriction when he comes back.
The Heat have been struggling without Bosh, losing the last two games of the Easter Conference Finals to the Boston Celtics. According to ESPN.com, Kevin Garnett has really taken advantage of Bosh’s absence, averaging 20.2 PPG and 10.2 RPG. The reason that the Celtics are beating the Heat is because of the Heat’s 2 on 5 formula, which means LeBron James and Dwayne Wade are carrying the team.
Basketball is a team sport that does not revolve around just two players on one team. Wade and James are two very special players, but they cannot do this by themselves. They need Bosh back.
