Jay Cutler Took the Stairs Over an Elevator Following News He Has a Grade II MCL Sprain
While Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler is reported to have a MCL sprain, the Chicago Tribute recently reported that he took the stars rather than the elevator at a restaurant on Sunday.
Bears fans sat in bewilderment when Cutler sat on the sidelines during the Bears’ loss against the Green Bay Packers and didn’t make an attempt to enter the game.
Then on Monday it was revealed that Cutler was suffering from a Grade II MCL sprain, a partial tear to his ligament.
Bears’ third-string quarterback Caleb Hanie was on the Dan Patrick Show and made it clear that Cutler did not quit the team.
“He talked to me a lot coming off the field,” Hanie said. “Trying to calm me down. Telling me to trust my line. Trust my reads. I thought he was well into the game. He told me what blitzes they were bringing. What coverages they were running.”
