Joe Hart to Sunderland transfer news and rumors latest update

English Premier League (EPL) club Sunderland will offer Joe Hart an opportunity to end his misery with Manchester City by offering a season long loan deal. The England international goalkeeper is not favored by City manager Pep Guardiola and has been told to look elsewhere for playing opportunities.

Sunderland manager, David Moyes requires a goalkeeper after first choice custodian Vito Mannone was ruled out for three months. Mannone damaged his elbow ligaments in training and this has made the former Manchester United manager keen to sign Hart, as reported by Daily Mail.

Sunderland would offer Hart the regular first-team opportunities he is looking for. However, the two-time Premier League champion is not willing to play for a club who will fight for relegation over the course of the season.

Hart has an expensive contract with City worth $170,742-a-week. The Citizens will need to pay the majority of the player’s salary if he wishes to move to the Stadium of Light.

Although the 29-year-old is having reservations regarding joining Sunderland, the truth is that the player is running out of options before the summer transfer window ends on August 31, 2016. Guardiola has stressed on the fact that Hart will be competing against the likes of Willy Caballero and rookie Angus Gunn for a place on the reserve bench.

England manager Sam Allardyce has also admitted that he will only consider picking Hart for the national team only if he is a regular started at his club. This is also be an added incentive for the player to find himself a football club which will offer him regular first-team opportunities.

A club which could have offered him an escape route was Everton. However, manager Ronald Koeman suggested earlier this week that they were not interested in signing the out-of-favor City keeper.

Despite the financial struggles at Sunderland, David Moyes is extremely interested to capture Hart and is ready to pull out all the stops to get his man.
