LeBron James helps Heat in a comeback win against Rockets
After being down most of the game, star forward LeBron James helped the Miami Heat topple the Houston Rockets in a huge 113-110 victory.
The Heats started off hot in the first quarter with a 22-5 run. It looked like this was going to be a blow out, but the Rockets fought back and then took the lead.
After the second half, James came out shooting 12 for 20 from the field and 5 of 7 from the three-point range.
In the fourth quarter, the Heats were down until James made a huge layup to give the Heat a 111-110 lead.
In the next possession, Rockets’ point guard Jeremy Lin tried to give his team the lead but air-balled a three-point attempt. On the next possession, James Harden missed his three point attempt giving Heats the win.
James finished the game with 38 points, 10 rebounds, and six assists, according to SB Nations.
After the game, Heats’ forward Chris Bosh talked about James’ performance to the Associated Press. “I expected him to make every single shot he threw up. I guess, after 30 points, you think everything is going in,” he said.
For the Rockets, Chandler Parson had his career best with 25 points while Omer Asik contributed 19 points and 14 rebounds.
