Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton is known as an over-the-top player in the realm of fashion. He was even cited by GQ for wearing silver-studded shoes during a post-game press conference earlier this season.
On the field, Newton is also known for his fashionable cleats through his sneaker deal with Under Armour. Prior to their NFC Championship game against the Arizona Cardinals, he broke out a pair of cleats to give a nod to his teammates who helped their cause to winning the NFC South division title:
This joins a host of other special cleats Newton wore on the field for the Carolina Panthers, which is headed to Super Bowl 50 in San Francisco after scoring a 49-15 win over the Arizona Cardinals. Newton also wore a special makeup of his cleats dedicated to his son, Chosen, a week earlier against the Seattle Seahawks.
Additionally, he wore a tribute “father and son” shirt with his signature “dab” touchdown celebration dance move.
During their Thanksgiving Day “color rush” game against the Dallas Cowboys, Newton also wore special cleats showing his “dab” dance.
