Lincecum sued for $350K by landlord

San Francisco Giants ace Tim Lincecum has been sued for allegedly trashing his rented apartment in the Bay Area.

According to Fox Sports, the lawsuit was filed on Wednesday can claims Lincecum either stole or destroyed $200,000 of household items in the fully furnished apartment.

The 27-year-old Lincecum was accused of coming back to the apartment after his lease had expired and stealing or destroying items during, what the manager thought to be, a wild party.

“My belief is there was some kind of party that left it in really bad condition,” attorney Jonathan Bonstein said. “Maybe there’s a perfectly good explanation on his side, but we haven’t heard it yet.”

The landlord is seeking $350,000 in damages from the 2-time Cy Young winner, according to Sports Illustrated. The landlord also claims Lincecum failed to make rent payments on time and stole personal property.

Lincecum finished the 2011 season with a 2.74 ERA and a 13-14 record thanks to a lack of run support.
