Masseuse dies at Chris Bosh’s house
Things are getting worse for Chris Bosh and the Miami Heat. A masseuse collapsed at Bosh’s home and was later pronounced dead after she was taken to the hospital.
According to the Associated Press, a masseuse was pronounced dead at a South Florida hospital after collapsing at the home of Miami Heat All-Star forward Chris Bosh. Police said no signs of foul play were found. Fire rescue workers responded to Bosh’s home and transported the unconscious woman to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead Monday night. Adrianne Bosh, Bosh’s wife, released the following statement on Tuesday night:
“Shortly after she arrived, she fainted and lost consciousness. We called 911 and emergency personnel arrived at our home shortly thereafter. They took her to Mount Sinai Hospital, where she passed away. Our hearts go out to her family. We are very sorry for their loss.”
According to the Washington Post, Miami detective Vivian Hernandez told the Miami Herald that the police are conducting a normal investigation into the woman’s death. Chris Bosh was not at home at the time.
Chris Bosh returned to the Heat lineup Tuesday night for the first time after missing nine games with an abdominal strain. He scored nine points in the Heat’s loss to the Celtics. Boston holds a 3-2 lead in the series.
