Conor McGregor picks word war with WWE stars? Roman Reigns, others fight back

With days leading to UFC 202, Conor McGregor is picking up other fights as he started to thrash talking about WWE superstars namely Brock Lesnar and rumors are swirling that WWE superstars Roman Reigns and others fired back at The Notorious.

The whole thing started during a media call held Friday with McGregor and Nate Diaz present. But before McGregor could start bad mouthing Diaz, he first turned his attention to WWE superstar Brock Lesnar, who defeated Mark Hunt at UFC 200 but was flagged by USADA after his test sample showed the use of banned substance. At this, McGregor stated that how can he respect a man who is “juiced to his eyeballs.”

“For the most part, those WWE guys are p**sies. They’re messed up p*ssies if you ask me. How can I respect that?” McGregor said of Lesnar.

Aside from his remarks, McGregor went on to say that he would slap the faces of the entire WWE roster if he could. But McGregor did not attack the WWE as a whole he stated that he liked the McMahons, Triple H, and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

But some of the WWE superstars like Roman Reigns, Sasha Banks, and former champion Kurt Angle did not take the statement to well. The three took to social media and air out their thoughts on the feisty Irishman.

McGregor is set to face Nate Diaz in their much-awaited rematch at UFC 202 which will be staged on Aug. 20 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. McGregor is set to avenge his UFC 196 loss to Diaz.

McGregor stated that aside from making thrash talks with WWE superstar, he is still focused on fighting Diaz on Aug. 20. He added that he is the last minute adjustments to his fight plans against Diaz. The Irishman noted that he will beat Diaz and if he does a possible trilogy will be staged to determine who the better fighter between them.
