It looks like the heat between Miesha Tate and Ronda Rousey has not been fanned down, not even a bit, as Tate just criticized Rousey’s confidence.
Appearing Monday night on “Conan,” Tate spoke about how she thinks Ronda has been too “pouty” about her loss on second-round knockout to Holly Holm in the UFC 193 last November 2015.
She said that even though she’s sure that Ronda will be coming back, she’s not certain if Ronda will be the same if it happens.
“She seems awfully pouty about the loss and it’s like, we’ve all had losses. You either get up back on the horse or you sit out for a year,” said Tate.
It was difficult for Rousey as it was her first loss, and she has not gone back to fighting after it. She even admitted in “Ellen” that she contemplated suicide.
Rousey said that after the fight, she started thinking of what she would be without the victory, and started to consider killing herself while thinking that she was “nothing.”
She was able to shake off the thought when she saw her boyfriend, Travis Browne and thought that she needed to stay alive and have a family with him.
On the other hand, Tate remains confident as she is at her best in her career, while Ronda is at her worst. She says that she’s focused on beating Amanda Nunes at UFC 200.
