According to The Sports Blaze, Punk has been training at Roufusport in preparation for the fight. The camp, led by kickboxing veteran Duke Roufus, is home to big UFC names such as UFC Welterweight champion Tyron Woodley, former UFC Lightweight champion Anthony Pettis and One FC Welterweight champion Ben Askren.

In a report posted by MMA Mania, after suffering his first MMA defeat, Punk remained composed and gracious inside the Octagon. Punk also insisted that he will be back for another shot to earn his first win.

“I just like to take challenges. This was a hell of a mountain to try to climb and I didn’t get to the summit today, but it doesn’t mean I’m going to stop,” Punk said. “I appreciate the support from everybody. Obviously, Mickey is a hell of a fighter.

“This is the most fun I’ve had in my life,” Punk added. “This was the second best day of my life, besides marrying my wife.”
