UFC: Ashton Kutcher could beat Conor McGregor says Rigan Machado

Since everyone is pitching for a “dream match,” here is one for the books as legendary Rigan Machado stated that actor Ashton Kutcher could easily beat Conor McGregor. He added that the fight is more legitimate rather than pitching for McGregor taking on Floyd Mayweather.

As reported by TMZ, Machado trains Kutcher in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and has already earned an 8th-degree black belt and describes that the 38-year old “Two and a Half Men” star as a natural in the field of martial arts with a good work.

“Ashton Kutcher, for me, is my No. 1 student. He’s a purple belt but he has a really good background in wrestling. I think he has a chance to be one of the top guys in jiu-jitsu,” Machado said.

He even went to say that Kutcher could beat McGregor in a grappling match. McGregor himself is also training with the art of Brazilian jiu-jitsu after suffering the stunning upset from Nate Diaz at UFC 196.

Going into that fight many analysts predicted that a ground match would favor Diaz, who is also a Brazilian jiu-jitsu student. Diaz managed to beat McGregor with a rare naked choke in the second round that sent the feisty Irishman tapping out; it was a stunning setback as Diaz was a late replacement Rafael don Anjos.

“I put all my money (on) Ashton Kutcher. I think he could do really, really good. He’s 200 pounds, 6-2, 6-3, he’s the best,” Machado added on the odds of his student beating McGregor.

And Machado knows what he is talking about as he is an 8th degree red and black belt under Gracie Barra founder Carlos Gracie Jr. and has trained the likes of Chuck Norris, Dan Inosanto, and John Will during his 44 years practicing the discipline.

McGregor is a brown belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, which is an added arsenal for the UFC featherweight champion, who had been rumored to be facing boxing’s pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather in a “dream fight” that most of the fight fans would want to see one day. However, complications to the fight aroused as UFC president Dana White is not sold out for the fight and would rather have McGregor fight Diaz in a rematch.

Whatever the case maybe, White would rather have Kutcher face McGregor inside the Octagon if the “Punk’d” star would go pro in the mixed martial arts world.
