The show which was previously cancelled in 2011, V TV series could be up for contention for a return. ABC has recently posted a photo featuring Morena Baccarin on the official Facebook page of the series. The photo reads “We are of peace, always.”
Although this may not be a direct indication that the network is considering bringing the series back, but this could be a small hint towards that. There has been no official V related posts since 2014, and this being the first one in a long time will surely spark up speculations of a season 3 return.
The V TV series is actually a remake of the 1983 miniseries written and directed by Kenneth Johnson. The 2009 version of V was produced by The Scott Peters Company, HDFilms and Warner Bros. Television.
The show featured Morena Baccarin and Elizabeth Mitchell. The series revolved around the arrival of a technologically-advanced alien species on Earth which apparently comes in peace, but eventually showed threatening motives.
Morena Baccarin played the character Anna, who was the leader of the Visitors. Mitchell played the role of FBI counter-terrorism agent Erica Evans who became the leader of the global Fifth Coloumn.
Since the post has been made on the official Facebook page of V TV series, fans have been very vocal about the show to make its return in season 3. Many want a proper closure of the series, since it was cancelled early by ABC after being telecasted for only two seasons.
No official declaration has been made from ABC’s behalf as well as from Morena Baccarin regarding the return of V TV Series Season 3. However, with a social media post related to the show done after a while, it could be assumed that something might be cooking behind closed doors.
