Navarro College wins the JUCO World Series
Navarro College and Central Arizona College went head-to-head last week in the final game of the Annual Alpine Bank Junior College World Series in Grand Junction, CO.
J.T. Files ended the game with a two-run blast to right field, resulting in a 6-4 Navarro victory in the bottom of the 10th inning.
Austin Pruitt pitched nine innings, surrendering four runs to a hot-hitting Central Arizona team, who scored at least 10 runs in their previous four games of the tournament.
When asked for a response by Sportsrageous.com, post-win of the JUCO World Series, Pruitt responded, “We did it boys.”
Proud family members and friends (pictured below) gathered around Saturday evening (June 4) to watch Navarro take home the win via live streaming held by PSB Live.
