NBA Rumors: Warriors in trouble with Andre Iguodala not healthy in Game 7 of the 2016 NBA Finals?

Andre Iguodala remains one of the best defensive players against the Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James. The Golden State Warriors could be in trouble, with NBA rumors that the veteran forward might miss Game 7 of the 2016 NBA Finals or play limited minutes in the final game of the championship series on Sunday.

However, Iguodala, who is suffering from back stiffness since Game 6, is expected to play, without restrictions, according to the latest report.

Iguodala did not practice with the Warriors on Saturday and received treatment for the back injury but the veteran declared that he’s ready to go for the big game on Sunday. So the NBA rumors that he will miss or play limited minutes in Game 7 were just speculations, a good news for Golden State, which has lost back-to-back games in this series.

Iguodala is part of the Warriors’ line-up that has given the Cavs trouble in the last Finals series and in these playoffs. He is the primary defender against LeBron James, who had two great performances in Games 5 and 6 to force a Game 7 against the Warriors.

On offense, Iguodala is also a threat both inside, hitting the outside shot and finding his teammates. In the 2016 NBA Finals, he is averaging 10.0 points, 5.7 rebounds and 4.2 assists in 33.3 minutes per game.

If Iguodala plays limited minutes, the Warriors are in big trouble as LeBron James has found his rhythm on offense. The Cavaliers superstar has scored 41 points each in the last two games and is averaging 30.2 points, 11.3 rebounds, 8.5 assists, 2.7 steals and 2.2 blocks through six games.

With the NBA rumors that Iguodala might miss Game 7 or play limited minutes for the Warriors not true, the Warriors can now look forward to having their best defender and line-up against LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers.
