The Heat stole homecourt advantage with a victory in Game 1 but the Raptors took it back by winning in Miami in Game 3. Three of the six games in this series have went to overtime, which tells a lot about how close the series is between these two East rivals. The Heat have won in two extra time games showing their composure in the close games with no game decided by more than eight points except the last won when the Heat won by 12 points.
Both have struggled with injuries in this series missing their starting centers in Jonas Valanciunas for Toronto and Hassan Whiteside for Miami.
The Heat avoided elimination in Game 6 with Goran Dragic exploding for a series-high 30 points on 12-of-21 field goal shooting. Josh McRoberts and Josh Richardson also contributed off the bench with 10 and 9 points, respectively.
Kyle Lowry had a game-high 36 points in Game 6 but had little help from his teammates. DeMar DeRozan added 23 points but the Raptors shot just 41.5% as a team.
