LeBron James asking the league for help against Warriors, wants Draymond Green suspended?

LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers believes that they are a better team this year when they face the Golden State Warriors at the start of the 2016 NBA Finals.

After the little skirmish between LeBron James and Draymond Green in Game 4 of the 2016 NBA Finals, it looks like the Cleveland Cavaliers superstar is now asking the league for help so that his team have a better shot at beating the Golden State Warriors, who has the 3-1 lead in the best-of-seven championship series.

Late in Game 4, James and Green went at it near the halfcourt line after LeBron pushed Green to the ground then stepped over the Warriors forward. Green responded with a soft hit near the groin area and James reacted strongly to the move.

LeBron James also claimed post-game that Green called him a “bitch” and it triggered the scuffle while the game was already decided for the Warriors. LeBron was criticized for the move because the game was over and it looked like he allowed Green to go into his head and win the mind games and LeBron also looked like a sore loser.

In postgame interviews, LeBron now appears to look for help for his Cavaliers and is hoping that the league review the play involving Green.

“I don’t know what should happen. It’s not my call. That’s the league office. They’ll take a look at it. We all saw it in the locker room. You know, like I said, as a competitor, I love going against Draymond, and I’m all about going out there and leaving it out on the floor. But when it gets a little bit more than what it should be, that’s what caused me to have words with him,” James said in the postgame press conference.

This is a similar tone with Cavaliers head coach Tyronn Lue in the postgame interviews where he said that LeBron James is not getting the calls and not getting to the free throw line as refs are not calling fouls on the Warriors.

According to ESPN, the NBA will review the incident between Draymond Green and LeBron James. If Green’s penalty is upgraded to a Flagrant 1 he would miss Game 5 and if it’s Flagrant 2 he would be out for Games 5 and 6.

With Golden State having the 3-1 advantage over Cleveland in the 2016 NBA Finals, it looks like LeBron James are desperate in looking for help from the NBA and the refs with the Warriors completely embarrassing them so far in the championship series.
