Nando De Colo had a very unsuccessful first stint in the NBA from 2012 to 2014 but he improved his play this season, helping CSKA Moscow win the 2016 Euroleague Championship. According to the latest NBA rumors, the Milwaukee Bucks and San Antonio Spurs are two of four teams interested in bringing back De Colo to the NBA next season.
Javier Maestro of Encestando reported that the Bucks are prepared to give him the best contract. Milwaukee has been looking for an answer to their point guard problems. Michael Carter-Williams still can’t shoot the basketball while Giannis Antetokounmpo at the position is an ongoing experiment.
Maestro also mentioned the Spurs, Toronto Raptors and Denver Nuggets are suitors for the reigning Euroleague MVP. The Spurs are looking to go younger after showing their age in the Western Conference semifinals loss at the hands of the Oklahoma City Thunder.

As mentioned in a previous report, there is a big chance that the DeMar DeRozan will leave Toronto this offseason and join the Los Angeles Lakers. The Raptors’ plan B is to sign De Colo, who averaged 19.4 points, 3.6 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 1.1 steals per game this season.
The 28-year-old French international was named the Euroleague MVP and Final Four MVP after leading the CSKA Moscow to their seventh Euroleague title. The Raptors also still owns his rights and will be restricted free agent this offseason.

According to Sportando, CSKA Moscow is willing to give De Colo a contract extension with an annual salary of €3 million. However, the NBA’s salary cap will increase this summer and De Colo’s performance could get him a deal bigger than what CSKA Moscow is offering.
In addition to his Euroleague performance, De Colo can impress NBA teams during the 2016 Olympic Qualifying Tournament in July.
