Rumors and speculations are now swirling with the Chicago Bulls who are said to be trading Derrick Rose if they get their preferred point guard in the upcoming NBA draft.

The Chicago Bulls have experienced one of their most disappointing seasons. Aside from being unable to enter the playoffs, they had experience lots of injuries including their key players that was supposed to carry the team in the 2015-16 NBA season.

The Bulls have become part of trade rumors since they failed to enter the playoffs after finishing in the ninth spot in the Eastern Conference with 42-40 record. Jimmy Butler, who has made a good performance in the recent season, attracts lots of NBA team but the Bulls stated that they will not give Butler easily.

Another trade prospect from the Bulls is the injury-prone NBA star, Derrick Rose. It is undeniable that Rose’s performance had tremendously gone down after suffering multiple injuries in the past seasons. According to Fan Sided, the Chicago Bulls front office stated that no one is safe from being traded since they are eyeing for a better future next season.

According to a report from Chicago Tribune, the Bulls are targeting Kris Dunn in the upcoming NBA draft. However, if the odds do not turn in their favor in the NBA lottery, there is a higher possibility that they would end up trading to get the top-rated point guard.

It seems like the Chicago Bulls are already building their roster with Jimmy Butler as the main focus. If Derrick Rose will end up being traded, a 2016 draft pick and a veteran player will much likely go with the Bulls.

Since the Bulls are planning to have a younger roster next season, it will be best for them to stick with this plan. With a veteran coach like Fred Hoiberg, there is a possibility that the Chicago Bulls will be much a better team in the 2016-17 NBA season.
