Dario Saric is expected to join the Philadelphia 76ers next season after reports that the Croatian prospect will sign a contract with the team in the next few days. The move will stir the NBA rumors that Jahlil Okafor is available via a trade as reports indicated in the early part of the 2016 offseason.
According to Philly.com, the 22-year-old Saric will be joining his Sixers teammates in the NBA Summer League and is expected to finalize a deal with Philadelphia. The Croatian prospect has reportedly agreed to buyout agreement with Andolu Efes in the Turkish Super Basketball League in Europe and which allow him to join the NBA next season.
Saric, who was drafted as the 12th overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft by the Orlando Magic but was dealt to the Sixers on draft day, played well in the recent Olympic Qualifying Tournament (OQT) in Italy.
Saric helped Croatia qualify for the 2016 Rio Olympics with averages of 14.0 points, 10.0 rebounds and 2.2 assists.

With Saric almost assured of joining the Sixers next season, Philadelphia will be looking to clear their crowded frontcourt.
Jahlil Okafor and Nerlens Noel are the two Sixers involved in NBA rumors during the 2016 NBA Draft when Philadelphia picked Ben Simmons as the number one overall pick. There are also many reports linking Okafor to Boston, which has many guards and point guards in their roster.
Okafor averaged 17.5 points, 7.0 rebounds and 1.2 blocks for the Sixers in the 2015-2016 NBA Season.
Philadelphia has many big men in their roster and this includes Simmons, Okafor, Noel, Joel Embiid and Saric. However, they lack quality guards and could be perfect trade partners with the Celtics, which has Isaiah Thomas, Marcus Smart, Terry Rozier and Avery Bradley.
The Okafor to Boston trade makes sense for both sides and NBA rumors could happen anytime soon now that the Sixers have locked down Saric to an NBA contract.
